I am well versed
in being an unnecessary extra.
I speak third wheel
like it is my native tongue.
It sounds like torment
but it’s not.
You see,
it would be lonely
if this was all I was seen to be
but my friends don’t think of me
as a spare.
To them I am not
redundant,
I am an
enhancement.
To them I am
the cherry on top.
I am
superfluent.
