Michael Farrell

Michael Farrell is from Bombala NSW, now living in Melbourne. His recent books are I Love Poetry and Cocky’s Joy (both Giramondo), and Writing Australian Unsettlement: Modes of Poetic Invention 1796-1945 (Palgrave Macmillan). He has lectured on Australian poetry and poetics at ECNU and SUIBE in Shanghai and in Santiago, where he gave the Roberto Bolaño lecture at Universidad Diego Portales. He recently guest edited poetry features for rabbit (LGBTQIA+), Plumwood Mountain (‘Consumption’) and Literatura (Slovenia: Australian feature). Michael also edits Flash Cove [email protected]. He works as a freelance supervisor at University of Melbourne, and is an adjunct at Curtin University.
