Magdalena Ball

Magdalena Ball is a novelist, poet, reviewer and interviewer, and is the managing editor of Compulsive Reader, a well-respected book review site that is now in its nineteenth year. She is the author of two novels and three poetry books, the most recent of which, High Wire Step, was published in 2018 by Flying Island Press. She has also co-authored six poetry chapbooks and won or shortlisted in a number of Australian and international competitions including The Newcastle Poetry Prize, the Melbourne International Poetry Prize, the Philip Bacon Ekphrasis award, Literary Nillumbik, and Catchfire Press’ Home is the Hunter competition, to name a few.  Find out more about Magdalena at http://www.magdalenaball.com
