Drucilla Wall

Drucilla Wall’s book of poetry is The Geese at the Gates, published by Salmon Poetry in 2011. Her co-edited collection, Thinking Continental: Essays and Poems of Place, explores ideas of place through poetry and essays, from University of Nebraska Press, 2017. Her newest book of poetry, The Irish Summers, is forthcoming from Salmon Poetry in 2021. Poems and essays appear in various literary and scholarly journals, and are anthologized in such books as Red Lamp Black Piano: The Caca Milis Cabaret Anthology, The People Who Stayed: Southeastern Indian Writing After Removal; and True West: Authenticity and the American West. She teaches American and Native American Literatures; and Essay and Poetry Writing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Her Ph.D. in English is from the University of Nebraska.
