I’m Alexander Pigounis, a current Swinburne student working towards completing my Bachelor of Arts. For as long as I can recall, stories have always been important to me. Their potential to rouse our emotions or grant us inspiration is a beautiful thing. I typically enjoy tales of all different kinds, but I seem to gravitate towards introspective, character-focused plots. Horror, sci-fi, thriller and drama tend to be my preferred genres. My favourite book and my favourite film — which I’ve always thought tells you a lot about a person — would have to be I Am Legend and No Country for Old Men, respectively. Inspired greatly by such works and many others, my deepest hope is that I too can move people with my stories.
