Nessa O’Mahony

Nessa O’Mahony was born in Dublin and lives there. She won the National Women’s Poetry Competition in 1997 and was shortlisted for the Patrick Kavanagh Prize and Hennessy Literature Awards. She has published four books – Bar Talk, appeared (1999), Trapping a Ghost(2005), In Sight of Home(2009) and Her Father’s Daughter(2014). She is co-editor with Siobhán Campbell of Eavan Boland: Inside History, co-editor of Metamorphic: 21^stcentury poets respond to Ovid(with Paul Munden) and presents The Attic Sessions, a monthly literary podcast.
