These poems are excerpts from my artefact submitted as part of the assessment for the Master of Writing. They were written focusing on the plight of displaced persons across the globe. Having met a number of displaced persons across my lifetime, I wanted to be able to convey a sense of their lived experience recalling discussions we shared. One of these poems is a call and response text so I have chosen to ensure the impact remains by saving as a PDF. All were written using free verse.
